After 8 years of trading futures and refining my framework, I’ve just finished developing the full Mastery Trader Orderflow suite for NinjaTrader 8 — including Mastery Trader, our flagship orderflow indicator, alongside Mastery Order Blocks and Mastery Energy
To mark the launch, I’m sharing a live trade I took today on Micro Gold Futures (MGC) using the suite end-to-end. No theory, no hindsight — just the actual trade, my actual reasoning, and the tools that made the read possible.
The Full Mastery Trader Indicator Suite
The complete suite is now live and includes:

Every indicator is built from the ground up around how I actually trade — not generic technical analysis. They work together as a system, and they’re all visible in the chart below.
Today’s Trade — MGC Short, +$4,326 Across 7 Executions
MGC June 2026 — 2-minute chart with Mastery Trader, Mastery Order Blocks, Mastery Energy, and Volume Up/Down. Short entry at resistance with aggressive buyers absorbed and Mastery Energy at peak. Closed when energy flipped up against price.
The Setup
Price rallied into a clear resistance level on MGC. Three things lined up at the same time:
Aggressive buyers were being absorbed — buying pressure was hitting the level but price wasn’t going through it
Delta turned red — the orderflow shifted as buyers exhausted into sellers
Mastery Energy peaked — the indicator was signalling momentum exhaustion at the high
That’s the kind of multi-confirmation read I wait for. No single one of those signals is enough on its own — the edge is in the confluence.
The Hold (and Why I Added)
Price pulled back against my position after entry. This is where most traders panic-exit. I held — and added contracts.
The reason: Mastery Energy was still pointing down. The pullback wasn’t a reversal, it was just retail buyers getting trapped on the way to the next leg lower. The orderflow read hadn’t changed, so the trade thesis hadn’t changed.
This is exactly the situation the indicator suite is built for — keeping you on the right side of the move when price action alone would shake you out.
The Exit
I closed the position when two things shifted:
Mastery Energy flipped up — exhaustion on the downside
- Mastery Energy flipped up — exhaustion on the downside
- Price was already extended below — the easy R was banked
Clean entry, conviction hold, disciplined exit. That’s the framework.
The Result
Today’s realised PnL across Apex Trader Funding accounts using copy trader — 7 winning executions on MGC totalling +$4,326.
This wasn’t a one-off lottery ticket. It was 7 trades, all on the same setup, all read off the same indicators, executed across multiple Apex Trader Funding accounts via copy trader. That’s the power of having a repeatable framework with tools that match how you trade.
What This Means For You
